Camping Along the River

Amanda's dad was kind enough to let me camp along side the river in one of his fields. Was a nice spot that the dogs were enjoying the tall grass to stay cool in. I helped do some construction on Shane and Kelly's house Saturday then spent Sunday hiking and relaxing with the dogs. I hiked about 2 miles to check out Welton Falls - looked like it would normally have a lot of water flowing through it but with the drought, there was not much.

I was happy to finally be able to take some downtime to play guitar, listen to some music, and cook some cajun chicken kabobs on the grill. Sunday night I decided I would work for the morning, then pack up and start traveling into Maine.
